If sanitation, clean drinking water & nutrition were responsible for reducing infectious disease incidence, you'd expect all pathogens to be knocked out in the same year. But no. Each disease starts to reduce JUST after its specific vaccine comes along. Amazing coincidence!

I interpret that differently: Vaccines rode in on the coattails of nature and created autoimmune disease and chronic illnesses in place of benign infections. Natural immunity had already been established through widespread exposure.

This is not a reasonable assessment. Natural immunity had already been established? Only after infection would that happen. Infections are dangerous. That’s the point of preventing them.

Infections help your immune system develop. That’s the point of them! Even with coronavirus recovery is currently 98%

Vaccinations help your immune system develop too. And without causing the disease. That's... the whole point.

And no, the "point" of infections is not to help the immune system develop. It's to give the particular pathogen an environment to reproduce in.

Yes they do, kind of. Infective agents - pathogens - stimulate an immune reponse, which can prevent re-infection with the same or similar pathogen. But the pathogen will overwhelm a proportion of those affected causing severe illness or death.
