    Tackling mental health issues among childrenand young people has to be a priority

    If Government were serious about tackling children's mental health they'd stop thousands being turned away from CAMHS. In 2019, 144,000 children had their referrals closed before treatment. Why? Because services are under pressure to meet targets, it keeps waiting lists down.

    Proud to support We also need resources to match awareness. Staff shortages are leading to mental health nurses reporting being close to "breaking point" due to service pressure
