Many states are working to recover from the economic pain of the COVID-19 pandemic, but New Jersey is trailing the pack. NJ ranks second to last in unemployment rate recovery with an unemployment rate of 16.4%. This is the highest on record for our state.

New Jersey has not used the funds provided from the original CARES Act that was passed over four months ago. In fact, New Jersey has spent less than 3% of the almost $2.4 billion it received.
