    There is no such thing as ethical milk, or humane meat. It doesn’t exist. Know what does? Yummy plant based alternatives. And something like 80K plus edible plants. There is no need for animal products.

    Further proof dairy cows are attentive, caring mothers, contrary to what the dairy industry would have you believe with the excuses they provide in an attempt to justify separating cow and calf within days.

    Whether it is for the environment or ethics, as long as it gets banned! P.S. I sincerely hope they move towards ditching dairy products next because they are pretty much the same industry with dairy calves feeding into the beef industry.

    Seems fitting I write this today after an agonising 10 days. 10 days ago I had the call every parent dreads, the one from the police. My beautiful daughter, a student at Leeds Uni, had been found in her flat in Leeds by her flat mates. She had taken her own life.

    The loudest supporters of the meat, dairy and egg industries are the people that profit from them: farmers, feed suppliers, vets etc. The loudest critics of these industries - vegans - very rarely profit from their stance at all. Consider this when weighing different opinions.
