She’s a star and someone who instantly got the complexity, thoughtfulness, sexuality, and power of Yennefer.

Its all well and all in an audition for a role, but regardless her overall "look" and "figure" doesnt make me think "Yen" at all. I get you guys were going the unknown route, but her being to innocent looking and overall to young for Cavills Geralt really lessens this.

Do you remember when Heath Ledger was cast as Joker and everyone scratched their heads? Or Hugh Jackman as a 5’ foot character named Wolverine? Trust your team. Trust the actors and actresses transformative talent.

Gotta love how that excuse is made every time a poor cadting choice is revealed.

How do you define a poor casting choice without seeing any footage, audition, etc.?

A character is composed of two things. Acting and appearance. Half of your character is already mismatched.

You clearly don't trust the creative team here, and our sincere intention to deliver an amazing experience for fans, so there's really no reasoning if you're mind is so set of still photographs. Hopefully, you'll tune and see otherwise.

I'll watch the first episode, but I can already tell you care about race quota, not faithfulness. Fringilla being black and Yennefer being Indian is just a start. If Nilfgaardians are black, then how come Emhyr and Ciri are white? Actually, why a country based on HRE is black?

We care about the best actor/actresses, but okay, as I said, your mind is set.

If you truly care about best actors, then why not pick actors whose appearance matches the characters and doesn't have a huge story implications? You didn't answer my question. If Nilfgaardians are black, than why is Emhyr white? Is Nilfgaard a black empire ran by a white guy?

As I said, hopefully, your opinion will change once you've seen the first episode. Until then, let's just be nice friends.
