@TeamYouTube If someone ISN'T qualified for monetisation, but they get a trending video that gives them over a million views and watch time hours, and over 1000subs, does money get back paid to the moment they hit the 1000/4000 threshold, or ONLY once monetisation is approved?
Who can answer it first. It appears the truth is probably too controversial so they’re unlikely to answer. Probably explains why that creator hasn’t uploaded any videos in 5 months since that 4million view video that DIDNT generate any ad revenue thanks to #demonetisation

My answer is no. You aren’t qualified for monetization until your channel is reviewed and approved, not when you hit those targets. Those targets just qualify you for the review itself.
