Incoming flights were not outright banned, since the first few international cases; tourism was not paused. Is it because temporary economic decline is more important than the prevention of a quickly spreading disease?

We hosted an international marathon, containing roughly 700 participants, many of whom are foreign competitors, possibly coming from locations infected with the virus.

We had a constant flow of students, chaperones, staff, teachers, and residents; people in general, coming in from Guam, going back to school, work, home, and in the community. This yields heavy risk of exposure, even if cases only begun to appear in Guam a couple weeks back.

Residents returning from foreign, possibly / currently infected countries, were not temporarily rejected entry into the CNMI, or put into any mandatory quarantine.

A curfew was imposed on the minors of the CNMI, failing to acknowledge that the majority of the population outdoors at any time beyond 18:00 or 19:00 are ABOVE the age of 18. This still has not changed as we have 2 confirmed cases in the CNMI.

Let's act like there aren't a whole lot of adults in small, or big gatherings. Drinking, hanging out, playing sports, and all sorts of things, at times past curfew, and at any time of day in general.

Personnel in the recently set up quarantine at Kanoa Resort are not practicing strict hygenic precautions. No facemasks, gloves, etc, and they are now the first in contact with possible infectious individuals. They pose great chance of spreading the virus into the community.

I saw a quote somewhere, and I think I'm about to butcher it, but in my memory it goes something like "Any preparation before an outbreak may seem too much. Any action taken after an outbreak will never seem enough" Whoever said this, I can't quite recall, but you damn right!

It takes the three of us working together to beat the spread of this virus. The community, the government, and logical decision making. It takes cooperation amongst all 3 to make any progress! And keep in mind we are only as safe as our least prepared neighbors!

Anyways, I'll find the time to link news articles, attach press releases, media announcements, and etc, to support statements and arguments I have made.

Wash your hands, sterilize your homes, make good decisions! Don't panic buy as you only render fellow members of the community less prepared! And most importantly, stay home, save lives.

There's a chance this may have already spread without the knowledge of the professionals, but it's up to us to slow it down! Be responsible, bidas can wait!
