    Thank you to Haag (BBA ’88) & Millette Sherman of Houston for providing funding & leadership for the creation of these statues, which are nearing completion and expected to be installed at McLane Stadium in late November. (3/4)

    Kane played two sports at BU & led a daring air raid against the Nazis: Lummus played 3 BU sports (and in the NFL) before giving his life at Iwo Jima: Both are recognized in Baylor's Ring of Honor, outside Pat Neff Hall. (2/4)

    Baylor alumni Jack Lummus & John Kane are believed to be the only pair of student-athletes at any university to have been awarded the Medal of Honor. This fall, statues honoring these heroes will go up outside . 🐻🇺🇸 (1/4)
