Dexerto gave them what they were asking for. Views, and they were making Activision aware that the cheating issue is a big problem and that they need to make an Anti-Cheat software for their game so this can be prevented which I believe was their goal of doing this.

2019 MW was in my opinion 1 of the best installments of the franchise since BO2. Warzone followed shortly after was (for the most part) a smooth feeling, first person, boots on the ground battle royal and quickly took off. Now due to neglect from the devs it's future is bleak.
