    I have worked with now since March. He has been an extraordinary campaigner over the years. He should be celebrating now, not sad at what’s happened. If it wasn’t for him and his sacrifices we wouldn’t be here. Well done Nigel.

    We held a democratic vote on the EU. The majority voted to leave. You want to appeal to both sides - but we can’t leave and remain! This country needs a leader that isn’t afraid to take us out of the EU. That’s something that you and your party clearly aren’t willing to.

    If some accuse me of talking to both sides in the Brexit debate then so be it. I’m proud of it. Why would I only want to talk to half the country? I don’t want to live in half a country. A prime minister must talk and listen to everyone - and bring our divided country together.
