    The UK's institutions need to protect children, all children, those who come here for safety, those who live here already.

    HM Prison Inspectorate reports children arriving on small boats, some as young as 12, placed in hotels without proper supervision. Some left for days in reception facility without access to beds or showers, with little or no natural light.

    We've worked with the amazing Refugee Community Kitchen in France, who are now also doing great work here in the UK. But how sad this is the reality, this is the need. If you have time to volunteer and lend a hand, get in touch.

    We've added a new site to our London Outreach scheme! On Wednesdays at 7pm, we are now serving up hot, nutritious meals in Archway. We've been shown a warm welcome by locals and businesses, so here's to another little pocket of love on the streets 🧡

    The must end now! The government needs to be held accountable for this unlawful practice & gross miscarriage of justice!

    British government deported 40,000 people using an unlawful process. A process *deliberately* designed to deny people access to their legal rights, to justice. Enough is enough! End the racist !

    The petition is closed, but you can still email your MP asking them to call for the right to work for people seeking asylum. With 181,399 backers and tonnes of evidence on the mental health, economic and social benefits - it's common sense. .

    Truly disappointing result this evening on the + We will continue to argue for the rights of families to be together. The UK gov must act to ensure family reunion + relocation for unaccompanied children after 31st Dec

    Today was unbelievably special. A huge crowd of more than 200 men, women and children turned up at the Folkestone military barracks this morning with heart-warming posters, chants and cheers to welcome the refugees there – all while dancing & singing to You’ve Got a Friend in Me!

    Come on, UK, let's remember the best of who we can be. Please, if you haven't already, contact your MP and urge them to restart resettlement of refugees in the UK. Parliament discusses this TODAY.

    Congratulations to the student and to the community members who welcomed a refugee family to - and supported them as they built their new lives. is a powerful thing 💙

    We are immensely proud today! One of the family members we support graduated from Bath Spa University with a 2:1 in Business Studies. He came to the UK speaking little English and to say he worked hard to get this degree is an understatement.

    EMAIL YOUR MP: REOPEN SAFE ROUTES TO SAFETY We've had air travel for holidays, there's no reason life-saving resettlement flights can't resume. The Government should get back to protecting lives and commit to welcoming at least 5,000 refugees a year.
