The UK's institutions need to protect children, all children, those who come here for safety, those who live here already.

We've worked with the amazing Refugee Community Kitchen in France, who are now also doing great work here in the UK. But how sad this is the reality, this is the need. If you have time to volunteer and lend a hand, get in touch.

The petition is closed, but you can still email your MP asking them to call for the right to work for people seeking asylum. With 181,399 backers and tonnes of evidence on the mental health, economic and social benefits - it's common sense. .

Tiny ponies! Huge pigs? The children BWR support had a wonderful woodland day out, learning useful gardening and acorn planting. Our thanks to Angela at Curiositree () for organising these exciting outdoor events for the BWR children.

Right now, people in desperate situations risk their lives to reach the UK because our government does not provide safe + legal routes to people seeking protection. It doesn't have to be this way.✍️Write to your MP to demand safe + legal routes now.

Today was unbelievably special. A huge crowd of more than 200 men, women and children turned up at the Folkestone military barracks this morning with heart-warming posters, chants and cheers to welcome the refugees there – all while dancing & singing to You’ve Got a Friend in Me!

Come on, UK, let's remember the best of who we can be. Please, if you haven't already, contact your MP and urge them to restart resettlement of refugees in the UK. Parliament discusses this TODAY.

With on hold, these are the kind of heartwarming, life-changing stories groups in the UK are unable to share. We will continue to push the government to unfreeze flights and commit to resettling 25k by 2025.

We are immensely proud today! One of the family members we support graduated from Bath Spa University with a 2:1 in Business Studies. He came to the UK speaking little English and to say he worked hard to get this degree is an understatement.
