Afghanistan ‘western’ experts: Those involved directly or recruited for the peace process—to develop and support Taliban narrative—played very immoral role during past one year. Most of them were academias, retired military professionals & fmr diplomats. 1/3
Up until January they’d promote the Taliban media material & political communication. After each ‘unclaimed’ attack this coordinated group would harshly reject Taliban’s involvement. They’d also propagate that Afghan govt is a primary obstacle to peace or blamed its security. 2/3
This ‘expert’ group would target Afghan youths on Twitter who‘d question the Taliban rebranding campaign. They stamped them as an emotional generation, pro-govt faction & discredited them. After @POTUS inauguration, this group’s activity for Taliban has dramatically declined. 3/3
Totally agree 
There is much intellectual dishonesty in these conversations. Some of these experts want USA out of Afghanistan, this is understandable. But they don’t care of the outcome and the impact this will have on the country, and push dishonest narrative to justify their position!
