San Francisco is being stingy here. Why limit it to $5 million? It needs to be AT LEAST $25 million.

Insane Dems giving away other people’s money…. A great way to drive away the few remaining taxpayers who haven’t yet fled CA. #MagicMoneyTree

Even though those protests are illegal and implicitly threaten the justices and their families, NOT ONE of the hundreds (if not thousands) of people involved in these protests has been arrested or charged.

I’d love to get to weigh in on this. By mistreating Lt. Ridge Alkonis and then refusing to act on his prisoner-transfer application, the Kishida Administration seems to be suggesting that number should be zero.

If so, why? (“Because … China” isn’t a real answer; please try to be specific in your reasons if you think the current arrangement makes sense, and is a good deal for the United States).

This is exactly what I’m talking about: this “enlightened” class of people will call you a good parent if you respond to pediatric gender dysphoria by having your child surgically mutilated. And if you question that practice, they’ll accuse you of being “pro teen suicide.”

Stanford cannot credibly refuse to release the footage (and otherwise investigate) in light of this claim. And if it turns out to be true, the school will have to take action against the faculty and students who orchestrated this attack, and then vehemently denied any wrongdoing.

As Judge Duncan was on his way to the classroom for the event, students lined up on both sides of a narrow hallway yelled vicious things at him, including "we hope your daughters get raped." Stanford Fed Soc president Tim Rosenberger just revealed that on podcast recording.

Any idea what the footage would show?

STANFORD IS HIDING VIDEO: Stanford is refusing to provide video of event to Stanford Fed Soc, even though Fed Soc contracted with--and paid $150 to--Stanford AV support team to video event. Info is direct from a leader of Stanford's Fed Soc chapter.

If you could go back in time, what would you tell the world about COVID, with the hindsight of the last three years?
Quote Tweet
Three years ago to the day, COVID authoritarianism went into overdrive with the announcement of 15 days to slow the spread.

Is the juice worth the squeeze? Is whatever populist attention you’re getting domestically from keeping Alkonis in a Japanese prison worth weakening Japan’s standing with the American people? I strongly suspect it is not. The sooner you realize this, the better. #BringRidgeHome

. please take note: “What win I, if I gain the thing I seek? A dream, a breath, a froth of fleeting joy. Who buys a minute's mirth to wail a week? Or sells eternity to get a toy? For one sweet grape who will the vine destroy?” William Shakespeare, The Rape of Lucrece.

What does this say about how U.S. military families are treated in Japan? We need to address this issue as we reconsider our Status of Forces Agreement with Japan. would take care of things like this if the tables were turned, and we should be no less vigilant.

Not good. “In 2020, 12,998 patients picked up by 🚑 were refused admission to at least three hospitals, according to Japan’s Fire and Disaster Management Agency. Of those, 379 were turned away from more than 10 facilities; one patient was turned away from 116 hospitals.” twitter.com/kiddaaron/stat…

Mexican drug cartels killed 110,000 Americans last year. Why not close the border to stop them?

Is there a word to describe the attitude of a person who regards his or her opinions as so obviously correct--and so profoundly enlightened--that they may not legitimately be challenged or questioned, and that only hate or bigotry can explain others' holding different beliefs?

18. The status quo has for too long let members of Congress (of both parties) have their cake and eat it too—often at great expense to the American people. In the immortal words of Lord Farquaad in the first Shrek movie, “that is a sacrifice [they’re] willing to make.” No more!

17. Members of Congress who delegate substantive lawmaking power to bureaucrats should be exposed for what they’re doing: allowing themselves to (1) claim credit for a law’s lofty aims, but (2) preserve deniability for controversial uses of the power it recklessly confers.

15. Federal agency rules cost Americans an estimated $2 trillion each year. Low and middle-income earners are disproportionately impacted by those costs, which inevitably lead to higher prices on everything they buy.
