Russia is preparing to disconnect from the global internet, limiting access to information for the Russian people. That means censorship, and we are totally against censorship of any kind. So... let's turn up the pressure!

Why is it that so many salespeople try to sell something when something is not recommended but not explicitly documented? As an example: "Can the customer drive 130 in the snow? It isn't documented that he can't."
That's just a sleazy approach trying to close a deal: stop it.
A good manager should never surprise you. Never ever. Not during performance reviews. Not during re-orgs. You should always know where you stand and where you're going.
Although dealing w/evacuation & potential loss due to the fires, the book Stories from the Field is close to release. <2 weeks. Please note that editors are listed on the cover. In addition to us, we have 30+ contributors to the book.
Meeting the technical requirements, - I want two windows that can be opened in that corner-, does not mean it is a good design. This is why a proper design is important, also in IT where these kind of things tend to be not as directly visible.
Not that anybody asked, but laid end-to-end @JeffBezos' 200-Billion dollars can encircle Earth 180 times, then reach the Moon & back 30 times — and with what’s left over, make a stack 10 kilometers high.
Grab a bucket of popcorn and prepare yourself to go deep down the SAP HANA Deployment Infrastructure (HDI) rabbit hole in the replay of the ABAP Freak Show Ep. 17 https://youtube.com/watch?v=zyHhxZWW40M…

What is the best wrong translation you’ve seen recently? My most recent: “If hands can not be reached, please be with excellent height” or from the same document “please don’t shave the screen surface with the hard thing”. 😄

There's a great deal of injustice going on. Not speaking up isn't the answer. I've asked our company to make a statement. While my tweet here, or a statement on behalf of my employer might not make a change, my opinion is that this is too important than for us to remain quiet.
We are excited to announce a special offer to provide you complimentary access to the VMware Learning Zone premium content for the next six months! 🏆 Get all the details here: https://bit.ly/2SVUqkm
I've been working on a method to automate our #SAP#HANA validation work here at #Nutanix. I've leveraged Calm and implemented almost all of our own best practices, and I have to say, it doesn't look too shabby. From zero to installed and configured HANA with two clicks. :)
There’s quite a bit of potential in Nutanix Calm. But if you’re uncomfortable with Python and REST, I’d recommend reading up on those first. Otherwise be prepared for a steep learning curve involving lots of curse words. 🤣
