    Agree that Green Deal priorities need to be reflected. That is clearly not the case in current positions of Parliament and Council. I see no other way to achieve this than to withdraw the current proposal.

    The needs to play its part in tackling climate change and biodiversity loss; the current CAP has been unable to deliver this kind of change. Ecoschemes and their funding are an important first step, but more steps must follow in agriculture and along the food chain.

    Dat was een teleurstellende week. Maar uiteindelijk zal ook landbouw moeten veranderen. Het is in ieders belang dat we dat op tijd inzien. Nog eens 7 jaar business as usual zal niet gebeuren.

    So negotiations on the Climate law can start. The 2030 target is not decided by the Council yet. Little time till December to strike a deal. European Parliament is clear on its -60% position.

    Ich freue mich sehr, dass der 🇪🇺 Umweltrat gerade eine wichtigen Schritt zum Beschluss des 🇪🇺 Klimaschutzgesetzes gegangen ist. Bis auf das Ziel für 2030 ist das Gesetz jetzt geeint. Vielen Dank für das konstruktive Miteinander in diesen schwierigen Verhandlungen.

    More and more progressive parts within Renew draw this sad conclusion. Also the progressive part of Renew Netherlands (D66). still tries to convince it is all great....

    Deze ochtend laatste landbouwstemmingen op amendementen. Ja, ook met dat vegaburgeramendement. Daarna vanmiddag finale stemmingen. Hoeveel parlementariers zullen inzien dat deze landbouwhervorming zo faalt? Definitieve uitslag rond 17u.

    Morgen stimmen wir über die ab. Die wird dagegen stimmen. Warum? Wir haben bis zum Schluss verhandelt & für Änderungen gestritten aber an wesentlichen Punkten ist das Paket zu schlecht: ❌Keine Klimaziel-Kompatibilität ❌zu wenig Artenschutz ❌Gren Deal

    Overal in Europa mooie woorden over de Green Deal, maar als t aankomt op vergroening van de Europese landbouw lijkt klimaat ineens een stuk minder belangrijk. over politieke verhoudingen, landbouwlobby, Europese Commissie en een vleugje hoop

    Om in de gaten te houden: gaat de Milieuraad een positie innemen op de Klimaatwet zodat onderhandelingen met het EP kunnen beginnen? We weten dat het 2030-doel open zal blijven staan. Hopelijk komt men op de rest van de klimaatwet wel tot een positie.

    In Duitsland bekritiseert de milieuminister de landbouwdeal van haar collega landbouwminister. Blijft fascinerend, Duitse coalities...

    Nach den Entscheidungen im zeichnet sich vor allem eins ab: Die dringend notwendige Ausrichtung der EU-Agrarförderung an Umwelt-, Naturschutz und Tierschutzstandards muss auf nationaler Ebene stattfinden. (1/3)

    Kan er nog wat veranderen? In de kern niet, die ligt nu vast. Er volgen nog wel een paar andere belangrijke stemmingen zoals het stoppen van steun aan legbatterijen en andere intensieve veehouderij. En er moet aanvullende wetgeving komen, zoals op het terugdringen van pesticiden.
