    Opening my last 1993 . Keeping my fingers crossed for this which is from a vintage that was spoiled by rain. Good color, cork, fill level, perfumed nose…..we’ll see what it has left. Cheers all!

    Tonight it’s this 2006 a favorite of mine and one that I was lucky enough to pick up some older vintages. Production is small (400-500 cases). Juicy, loaded with blue and black fruit, espresso and a hint of earthiness. Cheers all!

    Another example of where a great Chateau can make excellent wine in just a “good” vintage. This 2002 is loaded with currant and plum fruit, as well as charred/grilled meat and leather. A classic delivers again. Cheers to the weekend all!

    What’s not to like about Bistro comfort food, especially after a little wine tasting? Glazed pork belly, iron skillet cornbread, Kobe hanger steak frites and cassoulet. All of which were outstanding at , . Thanks for the recommendation.
