Managed well and play good enough to beat France in their own country for the Euro Title. Difference maker or not I wouldn’t call them a bad team....

It's relative to perhaps expectations and the other so-called contenders... and in that light Portugal is absolutely "bad" (as opposed to Trinidad & Tobago who they would definitely spank the shit out of)
