There's a bit of a double standard I've noticed here. Women joke about "Kill all men", and it's all fine. That's genocide you're joking about, but sure, if that's where you set your limit on humour, so be it. Men joke about the genocide of women, they get crucified. /1
To be fair, this is likely to do with that whole disgusting incel culture BS, where people ACTUALLY talk about treating women as livestock/culling/whatever. It's fucked up. And on hearing a man make a joke, it's far too easy to misconstrue that as "They're a sicko incel." /2

Now, as a historical note, these ARE cases of women proposing similar bullshit in the past, with men being culled, concentration camps, etc - But far less frequently, and there isn't that same degree of subculture of degenerates built around it. /3

However what I can say is that if you're pushing to end sexism, including misogynistic humour, countering it with misandric (sp?) humour is not likely to get you anywhere, except turn people more against each other. /4

Yes, a woman saying "Kill all men" is statistically less likely to be serious than a man saying "Kill all women.". But regardless, humour about genocide is tasteless at its best, and divisive and radicalising at its worst. /5

So, crazy idea: Women, stop attacking men. Men, stop attacking women. Just treat each other like humans, instead of some aggressive other species - until someone actually does act like a shitter, in which case treat that person like a shitter. /6
