You can always make an ad and make it run on your channel. That's not hard with adsense.

That somewhat defeats the point though, since the sponsors would need to pay for the advertisements... not myself. So more specifically I'd likely have to make a video... and then ask my sponsors to run it.

Then Youtube gets that sweet 45% of the deal. Possible though... definitely possible. They should make this more clear though. I don't know how I would counter-pitch this to agencies looking specifically for branded videos.
