#UnusualDeaths - Death by malmsey
In 1478, George Plantagenet, Duke of Clarence, was executed for treason by his brother, King Edward IV. It is said he was taken to the Tower of London and summarily drowned in a butt of malmsey, a pricey sweet wine. Cheers!

Funnily enough, it was after my discovery of this etching that we re-choreographed our “Malmsey Scene”. Prior to discovery, it was to be a simple face-forward/head-dunk/‘held’-down kinda thing…
…it then became all about back-pads & breath-holds, and LOTS of trust exercises!

There are worse ways to go than drowning in wine... Just saying 😁

That one I knew. Don’t know why. Seems an odd fact to be just sitting around in a brain waiting to be jogged.
