Article 3 of the Student Constitution clearly states that if a teacher is more than 10 minutes late, class is cancelled. Every high school kid knows this.

Yeah, we extended that to the University a few times. A few of our chem profs were not pleased.

My favorite rule in grad school. Our profs would get pissed if they saw us in the room.
“It’s been 15 minutes. Why aren’t you in the library?!”

In college it was 30 minutes....so if the prof wasn't there we all started a timer on our watches.

We had punctual teachers in private/Catholick school so,not a problem. The wider rule was no kids in the hall between 4-5 min switchovers, change of classes, seems they were on the hr or half-hr...dull memory

My HS teachers were ridiculously punctual; in college, however, we had a few free days because of this 😉

That's interesting to me because that was never a thing in my high school. College, yeah. We knew it was ten minutes for a professor, fifteen for a doctor, then if they hadn't shown up, you could leave
