A wet, non-crunchy chip is either a soggy french fry or a pile of mashed potatoes. I think the chip manufacturer is also making vodka from some of those potatoes if they're coming up with this malarkey.

If they are actually wet potato chips, then no.... Made me think of, when I was a kid, I would make the following sandwich: Chip-chopped ham, swiss cheese, mustard, hot banana pepper rings, Mike Sell's potato chips on white bread.
