Something a lot of folks don't understand, passion for something makes you care enough to be critical.

And just because you criticize something doesn't mean you can't also love it. I see a lot of fandom gatekeeping where to be considered a true fan, you have to accept something uncritically and at face value or leave fannish spaces.
