My 87 year old mother went to get her second vaccine shot today - only to be told that her appointment had been rescheduled to next month.
No one had bothered to call or even email to inform her of the change.
Canada's half-assed, lethargic roll-out continues.

Interesting, our American news media holds Canada’s government and healthcare system in such high regard that I hadn’t heard any reporting on this. To be fair, I think our media is tainted so I rarely listen to what they have to say. Hope she’s able to get her 2nd dose soon! 🙏🏻

Well, recent studies in UK for Pfizer and AZ - where they delivered the first dose, but delayed the second with 1-2 months says that if second dose is received at 6-8 weeks the number of antibodies is 3.5 bigger than when respecting the standard 3 weeks...
