#AmazingPeopleWithWhomIHaveWorked
The amazing Garwin Sanford has the distinction of playing not one but two significant roles in the #Stargate franchise - first as the sympathetic Tollan Narim on #SG1, later as Elizabeth Weir's fiancé Simon on #StargateAtlantis.

Always disappointed we never got to see what happened to him - yes the gate wouldn’t lock on but would have loved a ship to go and see and potentially save him.

Always wanted to know what could have happened between Narim and Samantha. They had a bit of chemistry with each other throughout the whole Tollan story arc. :)

I noted a few repeat actors over the years playing different characters. Also, what was the reason for recasting Weir from SG1 to the SGA pilot?

I am rewatching the series and that also happened with Paul McGillion! He played the role of young Ernest Littlefield (and obviously our beloved Carson Beckett).
Funny enough, with other shows this would break coherence while here it doesn't. This show does not get old!

PLOT TWIST, after Narims planet was destroyed, he went into witness protection on earth and became Simon

That was weird seeing him play the fiancé 😂 he was narim to me and narim had a critical role. The fiancé role was not important and should have been given to an unknown. Had the fiancé role come first it would have been ok but after... his critical role already was established.

I just learned Tollan has 2 L'S. Tollan was one of the good ones. Martouf is up there as one of my all time fave of Stargate character. Also Baal because his actor killed it!

The Tollan storyline has always stuck with me. I still sometimes think about them and what happened after we last left them. I wish it had been revisited.
