The late Carmen Argenziano had many great roles over his 50 year career, but #Stargate fans knew him best as the good-hearted Jacob Carter. He was not only a wonderful actor but a genuinely warm and kind man.

Didn't know he had passed. Sorry to hear it. I was surprised when he popped up in The Da Vinci Code - "Hey, that's Sam's dad!!!"

I adored his character. There was just something about his character that was so wonderful. I cried so much when Jacob died. My sister and I were sobbing.

He sat next to me at a Stargate convention and was so easy to talk to, such a genuine person. I've never forgotten how nice and easy-going he was.

I really liked Carmen. Met him a few times at conventions. Such a genuinely nice, friendly and gracious man.
