The lovely and talented David Hewlett () played the role of Rodney McKay, on #Stargate. He was a late addition to the Atlantis cast but did such a great job with the character that he quickly became a fan (and writer!) favorite.

This is going right to his head. LOL j/k, definitely a fav character but an amazing human. ❤️
He turned out to be the best character on Atlantis. The cause was two-fold: Hewlett's engaging portrayal of the character and the writers running with it.

That’s such weird timing. We talked about him at work today. 👍
Honestly, I full on hated McKay in 48 Hours. Then Redemptions 1&2 came along and my friend thought I was insane because I told her I was kind of falling for him. About a year later, she was like, "Okay... I see what you mean..." She takes awhile to come around, haha!
