Gosh I loved Stargate Universe. It got that vast, great unknown, empty-but-full-of-surprises ambiance of deep space so incredibly right, unlike any other series I've ever seen.

Well, the ultimate shady character on SGU was Nicholas Rush, of course, magistrally played by Robert Carlyle. But Telford comes a close second.
