Tough one. While I think the Fifth Race is more important to the overall story and one of my favorite episodes, I think I gotta go with Solitudes for being a solid character piece that explored Carter and O'Neill's relationship more.

For a brief moment Solitudes was 100% as I was able to cast first vote😅. Not that it was a quick decision mind (I just knew it was coming); was a tough call.

Damnit you're making these hard now.
Both episodes reveal massive gate lore, but Fifth Race introduces the Asgard and the 8th chevron whereas Solitudes (covertly) introduces the Ancients. So I'm going to have to go for... Fifth Race!
