    The provides an interesting perspective on evolution and gives some ideas for circuit design. To resolve classic trade-off between stability and responsiveness in gene circuits, have a dedicated copy of a transcription factor for each!

    Congrats Michal !👏 This work on gene duplication is one of the most fascinating scientific projects I heard of during grad school! Why are there TF duplicates? . It’s super cool and interesting and I highly recommend reading it!
