It does. There isn't a need for constant lockdowns. Only necessary when community spread is high, to stop straining the Healthcare system.

In our case not only govt imposed a full year lockdown without provisions but are rendering us homeless by evicting us from our homes without providing for transit camps or rehabilitation plans
Only to grab lands of buildings electricity and water supply are cut off

since the migrant crisis in India it is well known people do not want to acknowledge or they really don`t care as long as they are not affected by it

I would think it actually benefited the elite and middle classes (not just comparatively) because of policies adopted by Govt and Central Banks of zero interest rates and colossal quantities of created money flooded into the system making huge asset bubbles in housing, stocks etc
