Jealous! I'm trying (and failing) not to be to checking on it constantly :)
I assume that you are referring to Kansas law. New York voters are permitted to vote in person even if they have requested an absentee ballot and even if the voter has returned the ballot by mail. The in-person vote will take precedence over the absentee ballot.
People need to check the voting rules in their individual state. There are a number of sites that can help, includinghttp://IWillVote.com
@BarbaraBollier This is an important point to make also. Some county election offices in Kansas sent out Primary and General election advance ballot requests at the same time this year. People may not remember filling out both because of was 4-5 months ago.
Done and done! Let's make history, Dr. Bollier!
I dropped off my ballot at the election office in Topeka this morning. You've got my vote in the bank, Senator.pic.twitter.com/Lhkto479Q9
We have filled out our absentee ballot and we are taking it to the county clerks office today. We both voted for you Barbara! D’s all the way. Even looked up each judge for retention votes. We went by who appointed them, as info on judges is very scarce esp. in Kansas.
Can you post your judge findings?
