Why did I have to fill out a provisional ballot if my information on my voter registration is correct? I had no issue voting in the primary but they made me fill one out on early voting on Tuesday.

Had you requested a mail-in ballot but then went in person? If so that was probably the issue.

Probably not a major concern for Kansas elections but when can counties begin counting early mail-in ballots?

I've asked this before in election worker training and been told they start tallying as they get them but they do not process results until polls close on Election Day.
