i read that Louis DeJoy holds interest in companies that are competition for the
@usps....wouldn't that be considered a conflict of interest and thereby make him ineligible to actually be the postmaster general? -
It is a conflict (coi), but is there an actual law that says he cannot be appointed with a coi. It was just always understood that it was corrupt/immoral to appoint/nominate/hire family, felons, or those with massive coi. Trump has shattered those norms. New laws must be passed.
