There were some flaws in the PPP plan. One was it didn't prohibit paying bonuses to execs to use up those dollars. Rules DID state that companies could not pay any employee more than $8,333 per month ($100K yr) & have that count towards PPP forgiveness. The rest paid back at 1%.

Deja vu, those who ran these companies into bankruptcy reap rewards, workers who built companies get pink slips and find themselves without a job, severance pay or retirement funds.
