I know it feels like this crisis will last forever, but this is a positive sign that things will get better. To reach herd immunity, 60% of the people have to go through an infection and actually become immune. That would take decades and hundreds of thousands of lives. Also, medical experts warn that immunity to this virus might be just temporary because viruses can mutate quickly.
