My parents are in their seventies and live in Wellington. This is shocking and scary for all in Sumner County.
Even before this virus, Kansas rural hospitals were facing a crisis — partly because we haven’t expanded Medicaid. Very disingenuous Babs. In the last 10 years 6 small hospitals have closed in the state. Why, because they didn’t have enough patients to allow them to stay open. Throwing $ at them doesn’t change that fact.

They did not have enough patients because KS did not accept the ACA medicaid expansion whereby Feds paid 100% first 3 years than 90% after. Red states that did accept don't have as many closures. But you know that so very disingenuous Mr. B.
