Our legal system works for the wealthy at great cost to the poor. How is anyone supposed to make money to pay their debt if they’re in jail?
This is outrageous. Our healthcare system is so broken that Kansans like Tres Biggs are going to jail due to medical debt. This is a comment from a Facebook user about this story: "He didn’t go for unpaid , he went because he FAILED to appear at court an a warrant was issued for his arrest NOT because he didn’t pay a bill." There's so much logicall wrong here to me that I don't know where to start.
