I admit there have been times on Twitter I wasn’t as civil as I should have been. Not proud of that. We can learn from other peoples opinions and disagree with them without being ignorant. Create your own mini-movement for civil discourse on SM:

Disappointing employment news for Alberta again this morning. Knew many tried to delay layoffs until after holidays. Jan-Mar will also be tough months for many.

This story should sadden every Canadian. Australia is 2/3 size of Canada. Canada is a G-7 country- Australia is not. Trudeau has diminished Canada so bad that we are buying used jets to defend ourselves. But Trudeau has $ for himself and celebrities.

Today is a day for positive words. Use a pen and paper and handwrite a small note of gratitude. Thankful, kind words. Then give it away to someone who helps others. A barista, a teacher, first responders, a delivery person, a check out clerk. Let’s start there Good morning!

As govt considers expanding to minors & those with , I hope they remember this: "Those who endure psychological suffering need our support, our resources & our promise we will never give up on them". My op-ed (2016):

More proof the Trudeau carbon tax is a fiscal policy, not an environmental policy.

Focus on your breathing today. I have a meditation app that says “You can’t breathe a past breath, or a future breath. You can only breathe in this moment”. Focus on the here and now. Breathe slowly in and out. Take it one moment at a time. Let’s start there Morning everyone!!

It’s a myth that talking about suicide will cause someone to think about suicide. If you’re worried about a someone, have a conversation with them and ask if they’re thinking of suicide.
