I agree w/you Carol. It's not a law, but would go before SCOTUS. He's got his 2 guys in there, so who knows what will happen. Impeachment is the answer after public hearings. Would opening impeachment proceedings compel witnesses to testify? Does it give investigation more power?

I'm not a lawyer but I think starting impeachment would just provide more justification for witnesses & docs. The thing is,

Mueller was derelict in his duties. There is no law nor rule ag. indicting a sitting president. Trump is now openly defying rule of law following all laws he's already broken.

I don’t think so, but I would love to sit down for lunch one day with Mueller and Barr and listen to the WTF!?! conversation. I’m sure Mueller is disappointed, but sleeps good at night knowing he did the right thing, and not the easy thing.
