Just got sent pix of parklet spots going in on SR14 in Bingen. Temporary fencing, orange traffic diverters, no effect on thru traffic. Looking forward to seeing what other communities might do to make use of pieces of Main Streets that happen to be highways. #CovidStreets

Got a note from Mayor Betty Barnes of Bingen about their parklets added under WSDOT Safe Healthy Active Streets. She personally talked to businesses before they went for it. Only 1 was concerned about parking. Solution next tweet.... #COVIDStreets
