Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. I am blessed. I’m thankful every day my eyes open next to my sweet husband. We just had another anniversary. Yay! And my darling daughter is one of the greatest joys in my life. She is my hero.

Yes, I had no coverage for 10 years after my COBRA ran out. The ACA kicked in in time for my doctors to find and remove cancer, there’s so many stories of lives saved by the ACA.

I’m so happy that doctors were able to remove your cancer, Janet! No one should ever have to face post-COBRA uninsurability. Being ill is traumatic enough. Not being allowed to purchase health insurance to get well again is devastating. So happy you were helped by the ACA, too!

The ACA kicked in just in time to cancel my great insurance plan and a comparable plan now is 3-4 times the cost! I’m without insurance now and so is my family!
