That's not really a solution to the problem I'm highlighting. I'm not saying combo is unbeatable, I'm saying it's keeping a lot of decks out of the meta. I'd rather have HS be rock-paper-scissors than just rock vs paper.

Class themes, yeah this destroys 1/2 your deck but just as importantly it destroys 1/2 of theirs, it costs 8 and doesn't actually affect the hand or board, so it's a "T8 do nothing" which is a huge risk. Plus the cost means you've already drawn at least 11 cards from you're deck

which means the most this is gonna hit you for is ~9 cards, assuming no carddraw and the Lock has this on turn 8 to play it. While blizz has said they don't like mill they do seem to be embracing it for Lock. This seems fairly well balanced when you consider the practicality.

Don't misunderstand, I think this card is trash, won't ever see play. I'm complaining that WL is the only class with access to this type of anti-combo tech while say, Mage just dies to Malygos. Or Mecha'Thun. Or...

Warlock now has 3 anti-combo cards, and Priest, the control class which is weakest to combos, has zero.
