This. Diablo fans and gamers aren't entitled. Games are created to fulfill a demand, and Diablo Immortal isn't something that fans ever wanted. Blizzard should've taken Bethesda's Fallout 4 approach: release a mobile game to promote the main game, achieving the same outcome. https://twitter.com/Banned_Ali/status/1044006600556650496 …

I'm surprised the journos are equating mobile derision to misogyny. That's not a stretch or reach. There's no correlation.
-
I believe their ""reasoning"" is that mobile gaming is female dominated and seen as casual, but I agree it's a non-sequitur and arguing by comparison to anyone who isn't a kool-aid guzzling intersectional feminist.

I believe the proper term is mental gymnastics.
They never even considered the possibility that core gamers hate mobile because of:
-widespread microtransactions
-poor touch controls
-shoddy quality typical of mobile games
Nope. It's because gamers hate women. -
And sweet lord, it's not like Blizzard itself is making the game. They're outsourcing it to a mobile company. Really low expectations on this one.
