1) Fuck Ralphy Boy. Most of you have been following me since GG and are FULLY aware of my opinion of that twat. 2) I question the ethical aspect of a charity refusing the money. If it were me I'd put the purpose above my self and opinions.

3) This was a good act which likely has impure reasoning behind it. Doesn't make the act itself any less good, just makes Ralphy a worse person. 4)

You can hate someone and still take their money and do good with it. Even if you assume he gave that money for the worst possible reasons, I still don't think raising 27K for charity makes someone a worse person.

I disagree and would say that trying to use a charity to score points is. The act itself is a good act but the person is bad for doing it.

IMO the act of doing good outweighs whatever ill intent might be behind it.

I don't see it as a scale. I see it as two separate and unrelated statements.

You can't really separate the act from the intention.

I honestly disagree there. People do bad things with good intentions and the opposite.

I'm not disputing that. If anything, that's why I'm saying you can't judge an action solely on the (perceived) intentions behind it. You have to weigh in the actual consequences.

You don't judge the act on the intention. You judge the person on the intention.

You can judge individual acts. You're doing that right now.
