I specifically cited boat people. I could also have pointed towards cuban refugees or chinese mass immigration in the latter half of the 20ieth century. You're conflating casual naturalisation with refugees which is preposterous.

No, you mentioned Asian Americans but moved the goalposts to boat people once i responded. There are 18 million Asian Americans in the US. An estimated 125,000 Vietnam Refugees fled to US in 1970s.
