Silencing Women in the Name of Trans Activism https://quillette.com/2018/10/31/silencing-women-in-the-name-of-trans-activism/ … via @QuilletteM
No one cares about your little feminist civil war. No one is silencing "women", it just happens to be that your brand of feminism isn't as mainstream as the other brand. Tough titties.

Her insane breed of lesbian separatist/anti heterosex fem forced its way into mainstream, despite being hated by most women, and is brought to us by Radfems/academics that took pro trans stance during 90s leg of Feminist War. This writer hit nail on head.https://slate.com/human-interest/2018/10/queer-agenda-radical-feminism-pornography.html …

I'll read through the article in a bit but I just want to say at the outset that I find it very implausible that these two strains of feminism would share the same ideological pedigree. IMO they've taken different starting points but have converged on the same kinds of tactics.

Having read through the article, I have to say I disagree with the author. These authoritarian feminist movements are similar, but they aren't the same. One has largely replaced the other as the dominant form of feminism, and thus adopted similar authoritarian tools of control.

The fundamental problem is a lack of liberal principles in either of these versions of feminism: it's "live and let live" until they get into power; then suddenly they want to control everyone's lives.
