Streamers worried about getting their content pulled because they used music they didn't pay for should be more worried by the fact that they're streaming games they didn't pay for as well. It's all gone as soon as publishers decide to enforce it.

Attend minute papillion... Are we talking about a "special" license or just buying the gameÉ Paying your game helps devs and so is streaming has been essential to lots of smaller game studios to be visible in an otherwise ocean of release.
-
Most of the time playing the game just helpsl the streamer. People tune in to watch their ‘show’ which is built on content they didn’t pay for. If their show requires game content, then a percentage of their revenue should go to the game they used.

Yes, but in reality in this ecosystem studios pay streamers to push their game in front of potential buyers. Good point, but not sure this is the right door to open

-
That's a marketing spend, and to be honest it would work a lot better if they weren't allowing any random person to stream the same content for free.

Streaming has fundamentally changed the market & by the record business the industry is doing, one could easily reason that streaming is likely helping more than hurting. Never have a seen a game streamed w/ consistent large audiences via organic means that failed commercially.
-
I would look closely to see if that’s because the game is making the stream successful and not vice versa. People like watching certain games and certain streamers. They both have value.
