    Protecting the health and well-being of our children and educators is a top priority. I applaud the decision by to adopt the CDC’s latest recommendations, and I encourage every County resident who is eligible to receive a vaccine to do so as soon as possible.

    Law enforcement officers put their lives on the line to protect all our residents. Today was another reminder of that sacrifice. We pray for the full recovery of the two officers injured in the line of duty. Our thoughts remain with their families and loved ones.

    Hate has no place in our communities. I join all of the leaders from across our region in solidarity against these vile acts. We must - and will - continue to stand up and speak out against symbols of bigotry.

    Today, I stood in solidarity with state and city colleagues, faith-based partners and residents in a public showing of unity against hate outside the cemetery in Dundalk that was recently vandalized with swastikas.
