It is with a heavy heart that I added my name to an open letter raising questions on, and requesting the release of data/code of a large and influential #COVID19 H-chloroquine (CQ/HCQ) observational study in the Lancet.

I have serious doubts about the benefit of CQ/HCQ treatment for #COVID19 infection, and cannot wait for the whole drama to be over. Though, I believe 'research integrity' cannot be invoked only when a paper doesn't support our preconceptions.

As such, I believe it was my duty to add my name to those requesting clarification on the many issues of this work and request increased transparency.

Thanks @BallouxFrancois. But why the heavy heart? It seems like a very reasonable request on an important and timely issue.
I worry it will just prolong a debate, which I feel is likely largely pointless and is costing lives ...

Not opportuniste! Facts!! IHU have more than 4000 real patients with ecg & co disagreeing totally with the lancets “study”. Open you eyes!
